Our close working relationships with hundreds of Manufacturing Engineers & Managers and the problem-solving nature of our clamps and holding solutions means that we are often called upon when other challenges arise in production processes.

The design and manufacture of clamps, which has been our core business for sixty years, requires an in-depth knowledge of many different materials, mechanisms and processes. Sandfield Engineering has many in-house skills and facilities including design, assembly, measurement, machining, turning, fabricating, grinding, pressing services and a large supply base nationally and internationally for those skills that we don’t maintain internally.

During our 60 years, we have supported our customers by providing custom engineered solutions. Sandfield have provided panaceas to a host of challenges including land drain supports on the North Sea Pipeline;  self-closing fire retardant battery boxes to suppress lithium battery fires; a hologram holding system that held the largest ever shown hologram in Dubai;  a safe gas cylinder retaining system to support chlorine gas bottles in water treatment plants; trays for transporting battery cells in production and the development of automated valves for spill containment and water pollution prevention.
